Our General Home Maintenance course is a great place to start.
In a supportive, hands-on environment, you’ll learn essential skills in: Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing & Drywall
Classes are taught by experienced trades professionals and take place in our fully equipped demo centres and interactive workspaces.
Course Details
- Schedule: One evening per week (6:00 – 9:30 PM)
- Length: 9 weeks (9 classes total)
- Small class sizes: Maximum 12 participants
- All tools, materials, and safety gear are provided

Week 1: Introduction to Residential Construction, Tools & Safety
Week 2: Cutting and Fastening using a variety of tools and techniques
Week 3: Trim Carpentry
Week 4: Basics of Electricity
Week 5: Electrical Repair & Troubleshooting
Week 6: Plumbing Basics
Week 7: Plumbing Repair
Week 8: Drywall Installation
Week 9: Drywall Finishing & Repair
Course Fee – $580
- A non-refundable deposit of $290 is required upon registration.
- Classes are running at capacity and due to safety reasons, we cannot offer make-up classes.

Corporate & Group Training
We offer customized hands-on training to corporations and groups that are interested in developing their knowledge with respect to the building trades (minimum of 10 participants required).
In addition, we offer certification in Emergency First Aid, CPR, and Working at Heights.
Our customized training service includes rental of our classroom and shop as well as instruction by licensed tradespeople.
